Here is an exceptional example of the classic 1956 Topps Baseball pins in a nice, consistent mostly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with a few outside the range (noted below) but overall a wonderful opportunity to pick up an array that is 72 percent of a complete set. Seventeen pins are missing from the group and are listed below; included in the mix are the Diering and Stobbs scarcities. The 1 1/8-inch in diameter pins feature many of the great stars of the period and feature the same images of the players that appear in the regular-issue 1956 Topps set. Breakdown of some of the keys and condition anomalies: Aaron, Banks, Berra and Kluszewski are Near-Mint; pins of Kaline, Spahn, Hodges, Rosen and Skowron are Ex-Mt; Jackie Robinson (Excellent), Snider (Good), Turley (Excellent), Stobbs (VG), Spooner and Rivera (VG-Ex) and Smith (VG). The missing pins: No. 2, 8, 17, 29, 30, 31, 34, 35, 36, 37, 41, 44, 47, 48, 55, 59 and 60.
