This is a remarkable array of blazing Near-Mint to Mint 1965 Topps cards, a group that could be used to upgrade even the most spectacular existing sets. A PSA 7 Ernie Banks No. 510 headlines the Hall of Fame subset that also includes No. 160 Clemente (Near-Mint), No. 400 Killebrew (Near-Mint to Mint), No. 470 Berra (Nr-Mt to Mt o/c) and No. 16 Morgan Rookie (Ex-Mt), providing a nice glimpse into the broader group that is largely Nr-Mt to Mt, with a few Nr-Mt and a stunning presentation of vivid color and great gloss, plus exceptionally clean backs. The cards range across all seven series with almost no duplication, and include 49 cards in the first series and 42 from Series Two, plus more than two dozen cards from the High Number series, with those three sub-groups representing about 72 percent of the total. Along with the aforementioned Hall of Famers, the array includes McMillan, McAuliffe, O'Toole, Rigney, Virdon, Skowron, McDowell, Buford, Rollins, Fisher, Lau, Siebert, Mincher, Barber, Frank Thomas, Pizarro, Lary, Monbouquette, Hansen, Versalles, Piersall, Jay, Allison, Alvis, Regan, Veale, Fairly, Burgess, Ward, Belinsky, Schilling, Wise, Clendenon, Pearson, Tommy Davis, Simmons, Landis, Roseboro, O’Dell, Freese and Sievers, plus nine Rookies, a Team card (Angels) and a World Series subset card.
