Offered is an intriguing 1963-64 game-worn Detroit Tigers grey flannel, a classic that could possibly be attributed to the legendary American League slugger Rocky Colavito, who went from being a fan favorite and the 1959 AL Home Run Champion in Cleveland before being unceremoniously traded to Detroit for the 1959 AL Batting Champion Harvey Kuenn. This handsome jersey has the Size 44 MacGregor tagging at the back of the collar and washing instructions on the tail, but does not have the expected MacGregor year and set tagging along the button path. Colavito’s famed No. 7 appears on the back and the right sleeve in blue felt and appears all original. After the infamous 1960 trade that switched the two local favorites between the two Midwest cities, Colavito had four productive seasons for the Tigers before being traded once again in 1964, this time to Kansas City.
