This is an outstanding example of an important mid-1950’s Topps football set, the classic 1955 Topps All-America issue that featured 100 cards in the then-standard size of 2 5/8-by-3 ¾ inches featuring the great college football stars of that and earlier eras. Headlined by a dozen Hall of Famers, this grouping represents just over half of a complete set, with a condition range noticeably better than these cards are typically found in mature collection, essentially Very Good to Ex-Mt, with only six cards falling below the range.
