It’s the biggest (in dimensions) mainstream sports card issue ever produced in the postwar era, and it’s found here in a blazing Near-Mint to Mint or better condition that makes it a perfect occasion for the word unimprovable. At 3 1/8-by-5 ¼ inches, the unique, elongated issue elegantly portrays the legendary figures of the NBA and its newly added counterparts in the American Basketball Association. At 144 cards complete, this set is in simply incredible condition, with vivid colors and gloss, plus excellent centering, and with no discernible difference between the great Hall of Famers and the lowliest of commons. Add to that the inclusion of almost three dozen extras in the same pristine condition, almost all of those the Tier One Hall of Famers or key stars.
