It’s arguably the most unusual format for a mainstream Topps issue every produced, and it’s found here in virtually the same condition as when it rolled off the presses 40 years ago. The 176 cards in the tri-card configuration are easily Near-Mint to Mint or better, headlined by the PSA 5 card of Bird/Erving/Magic that boasts the dual Rookies of two men who helped propel the National Basketball Association into the modern era and the American Basketball Association legend who brought his magic to the senior circuit in mid-career. All in all, a pretty good argument for one of the most important basketball issues presented here in a condition that is as unimprovable as it gets.
