This is an impressive accumulation of cards related to the whirlwind romance of the Boston/Milwaukee Braves and the Midwest fans, an archive depicting players from much of the 13 years in Wisconsin. The group is decidedly Bowman-heavy, along with a partial set of the regional Johnston Cookies issue, several Red Man Tobacco cards and cards from the 1960 Lake to Lake Dairy set. The aggregation provides a valuable snapshot of the club’s tenure in Milwaukee, which terminated abruptly following the 1965 season with their departure for Atlanta.
