Here’s an old-fashioned lot of hundreds of cards from primarily vintage Topps and Bowman baseball but also including a couple of hundred basketball cards and smaller groups from football and hockey. The array includes literally dozens of Hall of Famers and even more stars and Specials. The baseball grouping runs from 1951 to the late 1970 and totals approximately 440 cards. Here’s a broad breakdown with some headlining names included: a smattering of cards (67) from 1951-55 Bowman and 1952-59 Topps, including cards of Bunning, Wynn, Howard and Colavito from 1958 Topps, and Anson, Traynor and Grove cards from the 1960 and 1961 Fleer Baseball Greats offerings, plus a half dozen cards from the 1964 Topps Giants issue. A larger array of 318 cards of 1960s and 1970s Topps is mostly Excellent to Ex-Mt and features 40 Hall of Famers, including 1963 Aparicio, 1964 Roberts, 1965 Fox and Bunning, 1967 Topps cards of Ford, Brock, Dick Williams, Aparicio, Durocher, Santo, Billy Williams (2), plus a 1969 Topps Frank Robinson. In the 1970s, there are HOFer pasteboards from the likes of Killebrew, Bunning, Marichal, Seaver, Anderson, Schoendienst, Berra, Perez, Aaron Highlight, Carlton, McCovey, Morgan, Schmidt, Carter, Brett, Rice, Ryan, Schmidt and Molitor, to name a few. The final baseball element is another four dozen or so cards from the early 1980s, perhaps ¼ of which are HOFers, primarily in Near-Mint or better condition. The basketball array, virtually all Topps (176), runs from 1972-79 and features 20 HOFers, including Hawkins, Riley, Mullins, Walton, Reed, Unseld, McAdoo, Dantley, Daniels, McGinnis, Goodrich and more. A group of about four dozen football cards is primarily from the 1970s and is largely Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt, with names like McElhenny, Branch, Shell, Dierdorf and Ham; the final piece is 17 mostly 1970s hockey cards, with a half dozen HOFers included in that mix as well.
