Offered are five pristine sets from the closing years of the 25-year Topps monopoly in the baseball card world, sets that appear much as they must have more than 40 years ago when they rolled off the presses. There are two sets from 1977 Topps (660 cards each), mostly Near-Mint or better, with a handful of anomalies noted: from the first set, No. 10 Jackson is Ex-Mt o/c, No. 70 Bench is VG and No. 473 Dawson Rookie – Ex-Mt; from the second set, No. 635 Yount is Excellent. The pair of 1979 sets (726 cards each) are broadly Near-Mint of better for the first one and Excellent to Ex-Mt for the second, with quite a few Near-Mint cards as well. The 1980 set (726) essentially matches the description from 1977, Near-Mint or better, with blazing colors and gloss and a wonderful, consistent presentation.
