Presented here is a pair of Wrigley Field seats showing the wear and age from the early days at the fabled Chicago landmark. The double seats boast the original distinctive Wrigley green paint intact and showing the expected wear from aging. The seats elevate and lower as designed, as do the armature pieces. The ironwork has the expected rust and wear, none of which substantially detracts from the presentation. There is considerable wear to the wooden slats at the front edge of each seat; stenciled Nos. 10 and 11 appear on the top slat on the seat backs. A stunning, historic artifact from one of the truly beloved teams and stadiums, evocative of sunny days and doubleheaders and all that it means to be at The Friendly Confines, right down to the bubble gum surreptitiously place under the seat.
