Offered is a nice, collectible empty box of 1958 Topps, one of the most-popular football sets the company ever produced and the second effort in the 2 ½-by-3 ½-inch size, which since 1957 has become the standard for mainstream sports cards. The box is in an attractive Very Good condition, jostled only by a notation of “football” written in pencil on the top of the cover. It is a fascinating artifact connected with a beloved and iconic football card issue.
