Here are four sets of the important 1974 and 1976 O-Pee-Chee WHA Hockey issues, and important historical archive of the fledgling professional hockey league that challenged the NHL in the 1970s. With only a couple of cards missing (noted at the end of this entry), offered here are two sets from each year, virtually all Near-Mint to Mint blazers, with a few Near-Mint cards, mostly based on centering. Here’s the breakdown: 1974-75 O-Pee-Chee WHA Set (2 sets, 66 cards each), including No. 1 Howe (2, one Near-Mint and one VG-Ex), 4 Nilsson Rookie, 17 Hedberg Rookie, 30 Cheevers, 50 Hull, 53 Checklist and 64 Plante; 1976-77 O-Pee-Chee WHA Set (2 sets, 132 cards each), including a No. 117 Checklist (2, one is Nr-Mt to Mt and the second presents Nr-Mt but has gum stain on the front. Three cards are missing from this set: No. 50 Howe, No. 72 Howe All-Star and No. 65 Hull All-Star.
