Presented is a really spectacular unopened “pack” housing a complete 2014 Topps For Mayor Art Prints set, a truly limited and intriguing peripheral issue by Topps that features many of the great stars from the first three decades of the Topps baseball canon in a striking 17-by-11 ¼-inch offering that mimics the design of the 1967 Topps test issues portraying players from the Red Sox and Pirates. There are 20 prints in the complete set that was originally offered by the company on the famed Topps.com website in early 2014; the prints are serial numbered and limited to an edition size of 99. the offering boasted an original issue price of nearly $1,000 and was only available until Opening Day that year. Each pack also features a bonus poster serial numbered to 10, with the only way of obtaining the posters by purchasing the complete set from Topps. The offered pack is in sensational condition, presenting essentially Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with only the barest whisper of wear to the upper-right corner. The complete set of prints includes (20): Aparicio, Banks, Bench, Berra, Brett, Carew, Gary Carter, Fingers, Fisk, Reggie Jackson, Kaline, Killebrew, McCovey, Brooks Robinson, Ryan, Schmidt, Seaver, Ozzie Smith, Stargell and Yount. The Posters lineup: Bench, Reggie Jackson, Ryan, Seaver and Schmidt.
