Offered here is a handsome partial set (roughly 81 percent of a complete set) of the coveted 1952 Bowman Baseball issue, presented here in a remarkably consistent basically Very Good to Ex-Mt condition, with about two dozen cards falling below, mostly to Good condition. Three cards have been third-party graded and sabbed: No. 1 Berra – PSA 2, 101 Mantle – PSA 2 and No. 128 Newcombe – PSA 5. There are more than a dozen Hall of Famers included in the partial set, with names like Mantle, Berra, Campanella, Reese, Spahn, Feller, Stengel, Ashburn and Wynn, among others, included in the mix, along with a vast array of the great stars of the era. Overall, it comes out to 11 percent Ex-Mt, 34 percent Excellent, 23 percent VG-Ex, 20 percent Very Good and 10 percent Good, with just a handful of cards below, including No. 108 and No. 116 Snider cited for minimum size concerns.
