Here’s an old-time auction that is loaded with value and begging for a good deal of careful examination: 1960s and 1970s Topps peripheral and inserts from mostly baseball, plus some Kellogg’s, Hostess and even Fleer World Series cards. This is a veritable potpourri of Topps delicacies from another era, along with the groundbreaking 3D cards championed by Kelloggs, all riddled with Hall of Famers like Mickey Mantle, Henry Aaron, Willie Mays, Roberto Clemente et al., and many of the great stars of the period. Here’s the breakdown: 1949 Remar Baking (10), Excellent to Ex-Mt, with a few below; 1961 NuCard Scoops (18), Excellent to Ex-Mt, including No. 424 Gehrig; 1964 Topps Giants (5), mostly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, including Gibson and Kaline; 1964 Topps Baseball Coins (30), a few Near-Mint, dozen or so Excellent, rest Very Good, including Mays, Frank Robinson, Frank Robinson All-Star and Kaline; 1965 Topps Baseball Embossed (12), generally Ex, with a few below; 1968 Topps Baseball Game inserts (152) – primarily Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with the emphasis to the upper end of the spectrum, and a few below and a good deal of duplication.
