Presented is a huge grouping of 1966 Topps Baseball cards that features the regular-issue cards of more than 110 Hall of Famers along with similarly imposing numbers of stars, minor stars and specials, all from a childhood collection in a somewhat wider condition range than typically encountered. The Hall of Fame roster includes multiple cards of Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, Pete Rose and dozens of others, cards that generally conform to the wider condition range noted above. With an approximate 1,500 cards, the condition range can roughly be calculated as around 50 percent being Good to Very Good, 25 percent VG-Ex to Ex and another 25 percent or so Excellent to Ex-Mt, along with a significant number jumping up to Near-Mint status within that final bloc. Breakdown of keys: No. 50 Mantle (5) – three Very Good, Good and Fair; No. 1 Mays (4) – Good; No. 100 Koufax (3) – VG-Ex, VG and Good; No. 30 Rose (6) – VG-Ex, four VG and Good; No. 300 Clemente – Fair; No. 70 Yastrzemski – VG; No. 288 Sutton Rookie (3) – two Near-Mint, Ex-Mt; No. 254 Jenkins Rookie (4) – Ex-Mt, VG-Ex and two VG; plus Palmer Rookie (2), Morgan (11), Stargell (8), Ford (5), Cepeda (8), Mathews (7), Hunter (7), Killebrew (5), Aparicio (5), Banks (4), Uecker (4), Perez (4), Brock (4), Niekro (3), Marichal (3), Drysdale (2), Santo (2), Alston (2), Frank Robinson, McCovey and Perry. Included in the mix are more than four dozen League Leader cards (about 25 percent or so Excellent to Ex-Mt), two dozen or so Team cards and another two dozen Combination cards.
