This is a really nice example of one of the important Topps baseball issues of the decade of the 1960s, the 1967 set that is arguably one of the most popular of the era, found here in a really strong Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with the emphasis to Ex-Mt and perhaps five dozen or so reaching Excellent, and another dozen or so below. It’s a very attractive and consistent presentation, with excellent color and gloss, along with good photo registration in an issue noted for its outstanding photography. Particularly attractive cards of keys Mickey Mantle and the Tom Seaver Rookie card, Excellent-Plus and Ex-Mt-Plus respectively, providing a nice glimpse into the wider condition range. As is not uncommon in vintage collections, the overall condition tends to improve a bit in later series.
