One of the great late-1970s Topps baseball issues is offered here in sparkling basically Near-Mint or better condition, with a few falling below to Ex-Mt and a huge number reaching Near-Mint to Mint status. This is a real stunner with fairly typical centering and an attractive look that provides a remarkably uniform and consistent presentation, with great color and gloss. The breakdown of keys: No. 10 Jackson – Near-Mint, 70 Bench – Nr-Mt, 140 Schmidt – Ex-Mt-Plus, 144 Sutter Rookie – Excellent-Plus, 150 Seaver – Nr-Mt o/c, 170 Munson – Very Good, 256 Fidrych Rookie – Ex-Mt-Plus, 400 Garvey – Nr-Mt, 450 Rose – Ex-Mt, 473 Dawson Rookie – Ex-Mt-Plus, 476 Murphy Rookie – Ex-Mt-Plus, 480 Yastrzemski – Ex-Mt-Plus, 580 Brett – Nr-Mt, 635 Yount – Nr-Mt o/c and 650 Ryan – present Nr-Mt, with slight depression in lower-right corner that is visible only on careful examination, and 656 Guidry – Ex o/c.
