Presented is an attractive 1980-81 gray knit pullover attributed to Geoff Combe, who came up briefly for the Reds as a September callup in 1980 and saw limited duty the following season. The shirt has Wilson labeling at the front tail (Size 42), with “80 – 1” chain-stitched in red on a swatch tag directly above. Team stamping below indicates “Purchased from the Cincinnati Reds” (faded). It has red-and-white sleeves and identifiers in red tackle twill; Combe initially wore No. 48 in September 1980 and changed to the No. 37 shown here the following year. Jersey shows usage and had been worn previously by Dave Tomlin from 1977-80; Combe made four appearances for the club in 1980 and six in 1981.
