This impressive gamer from the late 1970s shows solid wear, with possible attribution to two different members of the Packers from that period. The Riddell shell Size L has stamping in the crown of “08/78” and the Pac 3 interior padding system. The jaw pad is missing with facemask disengaged with clips broken. The helmet has a 1979 crown warranty sticker and Size 7 3/8 sticker on inner crown. The famed “G” logos are intact; striping is intact, with center stripe partially disengaged on the lower back. No. 46 is printed in marker over ear hole and “48” on dyno tape is found on the lower back of outer shell; No. 46 attributes to defensive back Steve Luke, who played six seasons for the Packers from 1975-80, and No. 48 to Nate Simpson, a running back who played in Green Bay from 1977-79.
