One of the great basketball issues of the 1970s, the dramatically oversized 1976 Topps set, is offered here in a complete set and a second near set, the latter missing 18 cards, and both in a stunning Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint condition, with a heavy emphasis to the upper end of the spectrum and no discernible difference between the Tier One Hall of Famers and the lowliest of commons. The 5 1/4-by-3 1/8-inch cards boast blazing, vivid color and excellent gloss; the complete set is in plastic sheets, with two key cards – No. 1 Julius Erving and No. 60 Pete Maravich – in PSA 7 holders. The missing numbers from the second set: No. 1, 23, 48, 57, 60, 67, 68, 70, 71, 84, 90, 96, 101, 105, 126, 127, 130 and 140.
