Presented is a spectacular 1981-82 New York Knicks warmup jacket, game-worn but not attributed to an identified player, a striking navy-blue knit with snap buttons (seven) intact and distinctive dentist’s collar. The jacket has the elaborate maroon/white/maroon braid trim on sleeve ends and tail and side venting. The legendary “NY” on the front and “Knicks” on the back appear in white-on-maroon tackle twill. Cosby collar distributor tagging with Size 44 flag tag are at the back of the collar and Sand-Knit exclusivity labeling on the inside of the button path, with appropriate Sand-Knit tagging for 1981-84.
