Presented is an imposing accumulation of the unique 12-page instructional booklets produced by Union Oil between 1957 and 1959 in conjunction with the 76 Sports Club television show on the ABC network, sponsored by 76-brand gas stations. Each book is a small pamphlet, measuring approximately 4-by-5 ½ inches, featuring tips from a major athlete on how youngsters could excel at their various sports. This partial set includes a total of 45 booklets, including 22 different ( ½ of a complete set) and some duplication, with most broadly Excellent to Ex-Mt, with a few below and with light toning, wrinkling and soiling and a few with paper loss or tiny tears at the edges. A couple of the booklets have stamping on the back page from local dealers.
