Presented is the popular 1964 Wheaties Major League All-Star Baseball Player Stamp Album with the complete roster of 50 Stamps affixed neatly inside in the 48-page Wheaties Album. Each 2 ½-by-2 ¼-inch stamp has been carefully affixed into the 8 ½-by-11-inch Major League All-Star Baseball Player Stamp Album issued by General Mills. In addition to biographical and statistical information about each of the players, the album contains information on all stadiums in the league as well as detailed origins about the Major League All-Star Game. The album presents in Good condition with wear to some of the inside pages on the edges and some light creasing in a couple of spots. The stamps are in seemingly in Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition and as noted above were apparently carefully centered and affixed to a precise degree not commonly encountered with the issue. Veteran collectors will recognize dozens of iconic images – including many Tier One Hall of Famers – in outstanding color photography from the Topps Co., with many of the images having appeared on some of the classic Topps cards of the period. The lot presents a fantastic opportunity to acquire this set as it was originally intended to be collected.
