This is an intriguing artifact from the one-year wonders the San Antonio Wings of the short-lived World Football League, a massive 22-by-33-inch team equipment bag with San Antonio Wings and team logo stenciled in silver on both sides. A black strap and supports are present, with white piping and “Del Williams” stenciled in white to each side of the back. Williams was the offensive line coach for the franchise, which finished with a 7-6 mark in that final campaign as the three-year WFL tenure ended with the folding of the league. A “Dallas to San Antonio” airline baggage tag is still attached to the strap.
