Here is a truly outstanding array of cards from the coveted 1953 Bowman Baseball issue, a group that is in markedly better condition than these treasured cards are typically encountered in mature collections. The high-grade array represents 69 percent of a complete set, and boasts a condition pedigree of 9 percent Near-Mint, 50 percent Excellent to Excellent-Plus and 40 percent Very Good to VG-Ex. Along with a bevy of stars from this Golden Age of Major League Baseball, Hall of Famers Robin Roberts, Lou Boudreau, Larry Doby, Richie Ashburn and Al Lopez headline this splendid array of cards.
