Gem Mint rookie card is the No. 1 card in the 1989 Upper Deck set. A young Ken Griffey, Jr. is pictured at the start of his career. A fitting selection to lead off the card for the historical first baseball card promotion for the Upper Deck brand. As does the '52 Mantle represent that decade, this card represents the thrilling time in the hobby that was the 1980's. It arrives in a BGS 9.5 holder, with 9.5 grades for everything except Centering, which was graded "9."
