Here are a pair of duplicate contracts from veteran hurler Willis Hudlin from his coaching days with the Tigers in 1957 and 1959. The two four-page contracts present in Ex-Mt-Plus fashion, calling a salary of $8,500 in 1957 and $12,00 in 1959 and featuring ballpoint pen signatures from Detroit Executive Vice President Walter Briggs Jr. in 1957 and GM John McHale in 1959. Hudlin was a workhorse hurler for four major league teams from 1926 to 1944, compiling a 158-156 lifetime mark with a 4.41 ERA.
