Presented is a sparkling array of mostly PSA 8 and PSA 7 slabs from 1967 Topps Football, the company’s final year of producing cards solely of the American Football League as the merger of the two rivals approached only years later. This grouping is nothing short of spectacular, with a total of 16 PSA 8s and two PSA 9 headlining a roster with a whopping 34 cards in PSA 7 holders and a trio of PSA 6, many featuring Hall of Famers or legendary stars of the fledgling AFL. In the breakdown that follows, PSA 7 is the default grade, with the PSA 6, PSA 8 and 9 exceptions noted: No. 9, 16, 17 Powell, 20, 21, 24 Kemp (PSA 8), 30, 32, 36 (PSA 8), 37, 38, 39, 41 (PSA 8), 42 Taylor, 45, 46 (PSA 8), 50 (2, PSA 7 and PSA 8), 51, 52, 53 (PSA 6), 56 (PSA 8), 57 (2, PSA 7 and PSA 9), 58, 61 Dawson (PSA 7 st), 67 (PSA 8), 70, 71 Buchanan (PSA 8), 74, 77, 80 (PSA 8), 84 (PSA 6), 88, 89 (PSA 8), 92 (PSA 8), 93 (PSA 8), 94, 96 (PSA 8), 99 (PSA 8), 101 (PSA 6), 106 Biletnikoff (PSA 8), 104, 108 (PSA 9 o/c), 111, 113, 116 Davidson, 118 (2, PSA 7 and 8), 119 (PSA 8), 120 Hadl, 122, 124 and 130.
