Here is a complete set of the 1971 Topps Basketball issue, an array that is basically Excellent to Ex-Mt, with perhaps three dozen below to Very Good or VG-Ex and a dozen or so above to Near-Mint. The issue marked the company’s return to standard-size cards of 2 ½-by-3 ½ inches after two consecutive years of the famed “Tall Boys” that presented the era’s NBA stars in a dramatically oversized format.
