For Windy City fans, here’s an opportunity to pick up a nifty collection of important vintage Topps baseball cards from the classic years between 1953 and 1965, cards in admittedly lower grades but nonetheless providing a great glimpse into the halcyon years of Cubbies history through the gentle eyes of a childhood collection. The offered group is broadly Good to Excellent condition, with some above and below the range and – as is typical with childhood accumulations – some condition improvement with the passage of time, with some of the cards in the 1960s closer to Very Good to Ex-Mt. The array includes cards from the various high series, along with the Hall of Famer lineup and a number of minor stars and Specials. There are 34 cards from the 1950s and the balance from the 1960s, most prominently from 1961-65.
