Here’s a cool piece of Topps history for fans of the legendary Minnesota Twin slugger Harmon Killebrew, the 2 ¾-by-2-inch color transparency used to create Killebrew’s classic No. 316 Baseball Thrills card in the 1962 Topps set that year. Created from the fabled Topps Flexichromes of the era that portrayed so many of the early Topps cards in hand-painted black-and-white photography, the Killebrew Flexichrome remains one of the most unique with its three-panel depiction of the great slugger’s swing. The artifact is in simply incredible condition, without issue or flaw and comes with the Topps Vault Hologram on the back of the 3 ½-by-2 ½-inch mounting board with No. 00198.
