In a memorabilia genre largely championed by Steiner Sports, the iconic Story Photo presented here depicts former Yankee Dellin Betances in a striking color photograph complemented by a detailed deposition in block-letter printing in silver Sharpie above his signature. The stunning 16-by-20-inch photograph is matted and framed to 22-by-26-inch dimensions, with a touching description by the pitcher of his attendance as a 10-year-old at David Wells’ perfect game in 1998 and his eventual ascension to the Yankees’ roster and playing alongside Mariano Rivera. The piece is essentially as issued, in simply superb condition, and comes with Steiner hologram and Certificate of Authenticity.
