In a memorabilia genre almost invented by Steiner Sports, the iconic Story Photo presented here depicts the Mets’ fiery outfielder Lenny Dykstra after his game-winning home run sealed the 1986 NLCS and set in motion the events that would result in even greater glory weeks later. The striking color photo is neatly complemented by Dykstra’s account of the event, and his autograph and inscriptions noting “1986 NLCS G.W. HR,” in the same silver Sharpie fashion. The stunning 16-by-20-inch photograph is matted and framed to 22-by-26-inch dimensions and is essentially as issued, in simply superb condition, and comes with Steiner Hologram and Certificate of Authenticity.
