Presented is a handsome Cincinnati Reds batting helmet linked to the Big Red Machine years in the 1970s, with possible attribution to Pat Darcy and/or Doug Capilla, the former earning legendary status for having served up the Carlton Fisk home run ball in Game Six of the 1975 World Series. The helmet has the right ear flap for left handed hitters and has “44” marked onto the crown with gray circular donut. The interior padding is intact, with Pro Cold sticker and American Baseball Cap sticker Size 7 5/8 in crown and also hand marked. The M Size Medium shell is stamped under the brim, along with American Baseball Cap. A well-toned “C” logo is on the front. The ear and back interior padding are present but detached.
