This is a neat array of late 1960s and early 1970s Topps basketball cards, dominated by an imposing subgroup of Hall of Famers and featuring exactly ½ of the array from the legendary, oversized “Tall Boys” Topps issues from 1969 and 1970. Names like Alcindor, Baylor, Maravich, Robertson, West and Erving headline a truly impressive grouping of NBA royalty. Here’s the breakdown: 1969 No. 35 Baylor – Very Good, 1969 No. 40 Cunningham – VG-Ex, 1969 No. 55 Bing – Excellent, 1970 No. 75 Alcindor – Fair, 1970 No. 100 Robertson – Good, 1970 No. 107 West All-Star – VG, 1970 – No. 139 McGlocklin – PSA 8, balance of seven (7) cards are all 1973 Topps – No. 40 Cowens – Ex, No. 50 Abdul-Jabbar (2) – VG-Ex, No. 130 Marvich – Ex-Mt-Plus, and No. 240 Erving (3) – Ex-Plus, Ex and VG-Ex.
