Vince McMahon’s first ever WWF licensed series of Professional Wrestling cards was produced by Topps in 1985 in both wax and rack packaging. Locating the more limited Rack Pack Box Version of this series is a daunting task in today’s marketplace as most Rack Pack Boxes of this series were initially returned to Topps by retailers (due to poor early sales results) in exchange for a future credit from Topps on other products. While some of these WWF Rack Pack boxes were later redistributed to retailers at a discounted rate, many of the Rack Pack Boxes were demolished. To find this series, in this packaging, while also being in incredible condition and authenticated by Steve Hart at BBCE is an anomaly and a rare treasure.
