Offered is an impressive grouping of cards from the fabled 1933 Goudey Baseball issue, probably the most popular and coveted set from the Depression era, with cards found here in a condition range fairly typical of how these classics are typically encountered in mature collections. Hall of Famers Bill Terry and Rogers Hornsby headline an array that comes out to 29 percent Good, 47 percent Fair and 24 percent Poor. A majority of the cards deemed Poor actually present a bit better and wind up with the technical grade because of a punch hole. In addition to the 68 cards from 1933 Goudey, there are two additional cards from 1934. The breakdown (68): Good (20), No. 16, 66, 68, 80, 81, 87, 88, 104, 105, 118 (mk), 132, 139, 156, 159, 184, 192, 196, 200, 206 and 219; Fair (32), No. 18, 22, 37, 38, 43, 46, 61, 62, 67, 72 (mk), 82, 83, 94, 96, 101, 108, 116, 120, 131, 135, 137, 155 (mk), 166, 167 (2), 183, 190, 199, 210, 212, 233 and 239; Poor (16), No. 5, 17, 20 Terry, 38, 50, 57, 58, 75, 113, 130, 173, 178, 186, 188 Hornsby, 195 and 223.
