Presented is an important partial set of one of the tougher Depression Era issues, the R333 Delong set in 1933, the unique 1 15/16-by-2 15/16-inch cards that is heavily dominated by the greatest stars of the period. Six cards are missing: No. 5 Gehringer, 7 Gehrig, 12 Traynor, 14 Gomez, 21 Foxx and 23 Grove. The breakdown: Excellent (2) – No. 1 and 8 Cuyler; VG-Ex (6) – No. 3, 4 Terry, 11, 15, 18 and 20; Very Good (4) – No. 2 Simmons m/c, 10, 13 and 22 Klein; Good (3) – No. 16 19 Hafey and 24 Goslin; Fair (3) – No. 6 Cochrane, 8 Cuyler and No. 9.
