Offered is an extraordinary near set of the difficult 1946 Sears & Roebuck St. Louis Cardinals Postcards that were a regional issue that featured 3 ½-by-5 3/8-inch postcards of members of the Cardinals and Browns. A difficult regional issue produced by the East St. Louis Sears & Roebuck, the offered lot is even more notable because of the higher grade level. The five missing players are LaMacchia, Mancuso, Milnar, Sears and Schulte; there are two Miller versions included. Overall, it comes out to 28 percent Near-Mint, 34 percent Ex-Mt, 28 percent Excellent and 10 percent Very Good.
