Here’s the third and final year of the important Play Ball run of baseball issues from 1939-41, the coveted color issue of 2 ½-by 3 1/8-inch cards from 1941 that followed two years of black-and-white. The set is headlined by an SGC Authentic No. 14 Ted Williams and SGC 3.5 specimen of the No. 54 Reese. The offered set is in a relatively wide condition range, with 16 percent Ex-Mt, 37 percent Excellent, 34 percent Very Good to VG-Ex and 13 percent below. The No. 71 Joe DiMaggio card has a secretarial autograph.
