Offered is an intriguing array of labels from the 1951 Bread for Energy issue, easily one of the toughest sets from the era, combining its regional distribution with the intricacies of offering a bread end label as a collectible, bringing new meaning to the term “condition sensitive.” The presented array of the 2 ¾-inch square labels is Poor condition with some duplication, not uncommon for how this issue is typically encountered in serious collections. The lineup: Bickford (2), Garver, Hodges, Jansen, Jones, Mize, Page, Sain, Sievers (3), Westrum (2), Zernial and Brecheen.
