Here’s yet another of the important and difficult food issues from the 1950s, the 2 5/8-by-3 ¾ -inch Red Heart Dog Food series, found here in a striking, essentially Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with the star-laden issue pretty evenly divided between the two. Fully 1/3 of the issue features members of Baseball’s Hall of Fame. The key single is Mickey Mantle, which arrives in a SGC 5 holder.
