Presented is a complete set of the popular mid-1950s food issue that celebrated the recently installed Braves in the Midwest after their transfer from Boston in 1953. The offered set from the final years of the company’s three-year run of issuing baseball cards is found here in mostly Good to Very Good condition, with some occasionally erratic cutting of the quirky 2 7/8-by-4-inch cards. The breakdown: No. 1 Crandall – Fair, 6 – Fair, 9 Adcock – Very Good, 21 Spahn – Good (signed), 23 Logan – Good, 33 Burdette – VG-Ex, 40 Grimm – Good, 41 Mathews – VG and 44 Aaron – Fair.
