Offered is one of the most iconic baseball issues of the postwar era, the fabled 1957 Topps Baseball set that ushered in the modern era of collecting with the 2 ½-by-3 ½-inch size that remains the standard more than six decades later. The presented complete set is in a highly collectible mostly Excellent to Ex-Mt condition, with some below and quite a few reaching Near-Mint status. The array is fairly evenly divided between Excellent and Ex-Mt in the early series then improves a bit after Series One, with greater emphasis to the upper end of the spectrum at Ex-Mt, even through the difficult Middle Series. Then condition improves yet again in the final series, with a clear majority reaching close to Near-Mint status.
