Presented is an attractive example of an important 1950s Topps baseball issue, the colorful 1958 set that is found here missing only two cards and boasting a nice overall condition that is a bit better than this issue is typically encountered in mature collections. This was Topps second effort in producing cards in the now-standard 2 ½-by-3 ½-inch size, and an issue thought to have been printed on a softer card stock that can make it more condition sensitive than its counterparts. The two missing cards are No. 140 Covington and No. 320 Ford. Overall, the condition comes out to 11 percent Ex-Mt, 47 percent Excellent, 37 percent Very Good to VG-Ex and 3 percent Good.
