Presented is one of the great non-Topps baseball issues from the 1960s, the black-and-white Leaf set found here in simply outstanding Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with the emphasis to the upper end of the spectrum. With super-sharp imagery and tremendous gloss, the offered group is markedly better than this popular issue is typically encountered in mature collections. It comes out to 50 percent Near-Mint and 41 percent Ex-Mt, with but 8 percent below, mostly to Excellent; the Jim Grant variation is also included.
