Presented is one of the more amazing high-grade groups of vintage Topps that we've offered, a huge array of pristine 1961 Topps Baseball cards, essentially Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint or better, with sometimes breathtaking duplication of stars, Specials and even key Rookies. These are incredibly clean cards with the emphasis to Near-Mint to Mint and a few Ex-Mt, pristine cards clearly from vending and most displaying the coveted “vending bend” that bespeaks of uncirculated cardboard. It’s a group that is almost guaranteed to include dozens of Mint cards; the lineup is almost as imposing as the pedigree, with a vast array of stars and Specials from Series 1-6 and a staggering 230 cards (38 percent) dedicated just to the important MVP subset that appears in Series Six. From that same series comes a mind-boggling (57) Willie Davis Rookies, a subgroup that dwarfs even the handful of Hall of Famers and many of the Specials that dot the landscape.
