This is great example one of the charming peripheral sets from the 1960s, the oddly-numbered 1961 Nu-Card Baseball issue that chronicled six decades of major league history with traditional-sized cards with a newspaper-style format and spot red color added as a design element. The offered set is in an attractive, pretty uniform Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with super-clean, nice white cards with bold red highlights. The key Hall of Famer cards and stars conform to the wider condition range.
