Presented is a complete set of one of the truly difficult food issues from the 1960s, the oversized 4 5/8-by-3 ½-inch cards that were produced on heavy cardboard and heavily waxed to withstand the rigors of being affiliated with various meat products. The offered set may never have actually suffered that particular indignity; cards are uniformly a crisp Near-Mint or better, with no discernible difference between the young stars like Harmon Killebrew, Camilo Pascual and Jim Kaat and the balance of the squad.
